Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a self-regulating business model that helps a company be socially accountable—to itself, its stakeholders, and the public. To engage in CSR means that, in the ordinary course of business, a company is operating in ways that enhances society and the environment, instead of contributing negatively to them.As important as CSR is for the community, it is equally valuable for a company. CSR activities can help forge a stronger bond between employees and corporations; boost morale; and help both employees and employers feel more connected with the world around them.
Corporate Social Responsibility refers to the guidelines set by the Government of India that makes it mandatory for all the corporations in the country to set aside, an amount equal to 2% of the annual net profits of the company. This amount is used to contribute to the economic and social development of the country. This can help organizations to boost their brand image through social service and welfare.
Generally, corporates look out to actively participate in the areas of child education or poverty while thinking about CSR. Lakshhya Society is an NGO in Aligarh working to provide education to the underprivileged children. We also carry out relief activities in times of need like disasters and pandemics. We look forward to partner with organizations to help them out in fulfilling their Corporate Social Responsibility in the field of child education or poverty.
You can support campaign of Lakshhya Society by adopting them or you can donate monetarily to support our initiatives.
